I'm never getting pictures? !
I've been trying to get pictures of my 1 and 3 year old but every week one of them is sick or has a scratch on their face. .since like mid December. Stomach bugs, high fevers, nubulizers, everything literally. Right now both have bad cold and scratches. Their birthdays was January and I really wanted 1 year birthday pictures and my 3 year old is over due for pics too. Should I just take them with boogers and scratchies ( on face )??? From what I remember,these portrait studios don't do editing?I have jcpenny groupons.

I wouldn't if they are sick. If it's just bumps and bruises then absolutely.

I think the majority of my DD pictures there is a scratch on her face. If she was sick I wouldn't take them.

Not if they were sick - more to do with spreading germs in a public place. If they had scratches etc I would.

Scratches or bumps can be edited with Photoshop, although I don't think jcpenney will edit the photos, at least not for free. But I wouldn't take them if they're sick. You can't edit out miserable or tired looks on their faces if they're just not feeling up to it.

I would say this. Most photographers will edit the images as part of their package.

I used a little cover up once on DD's face to cover a scratch before her pics. It worked well

IF the scratches/bruises are faint- take them anyway! If they are obvious/on their face- wait.
JCP/ Target do not edit pictures. :-P

I would get the images on a CD and then try to edit any scratches out myself with photoshop. Not sure if that's an option for you?

My fav pic of my little sister has a BIG scratch across her face.
Mom tried to cover it with makeup, but she had rubbed it off.
It really captured a MOMENT in life: imperfect, yet real.
Go with the bumps, bruises & scratches. The winter has to end & cold season will too!

It they are truly sick, then no. But for scratches on the face I would absolutely still have pics taken. That is an easy photo shop job to edit them out. You can even get an editing program and easily edit them out. It takes me a few seconds to edit scratches and blemishes off of the face.
