I'm getting tired of the government lying

Last week there was a "minor" news report that the U.S. may have used phosphorus in Fallouja. Last week our chosen leaders in the White House denied this. Well, today, they admitted that they did use it against insurgents.
Now while they still can't prove that any of this was used against civilians (a serious no-no as per the Geneva Convention), it bothers me that on a daily basis, there are more and more reports coming out about what we are told and what actually happens. I won't even go into the oil meetings that "never took place", or that fact that last week the head of all the oil companies didn't have to be sworn in for senate testamony (but yet baseball players have to).
Sorry this is long, but I feel a need to vent against all politics. Unlike the old PSA, I find the more I know, the less I really want to find out.
