I'm Confused - Irene (WaterSpout, your opinion pls)
I keep seeing that the storm won't hit till about 2am on Monday but there are warnings not to drive on Sunday. So, if I have plans to drive home from Saratoga on Sunday around 1pm, which should bring me to LI by 5pm should I change my plans and not go?

I think that's when the eye of the storm is supposed to hit. Last I saw we're supposed to start getting the outer bands around 11 pm Saturday night.

Not Kelly but personally I wouldn't drive to LI on Sunday at all.
edited to add:
I don't consider myself a timid driver, I'm the one that drove my kids to the beach in the blizzard because they wanted to see it snow on water.

What she said. Even if it is just a tropical storm, not something you want to plan on driving through.
