I'm back!
Well, I'm sure all of you stayed up at nights wondering where we went on our vacation  As many of you might remember from over a week ago, DH and I were supposed to go to Cancun on vacation. Well, thankfully (yes, I can say that now), our vacation was cancelled due to Hurricane Wilma. We ended up going to Las Vegas. We stayed at the Venetian and had a WONDERFUL time! We had a blast and even won a little $$.
Thank you all again for keeping me sane in those few days that I was freaking out about our cancelled vacation.

My parents did the exact SAME THING!!!!!
They were booked to cruise from Ft Lauderdale to Key West, Cozumel, and Belize....cancelled that on Sunday, booked The VENETIAN IN VEGAS that afternoon - Left Monday, came home Sat.
How funny is that?!?
They had a great time, also won some money, and had a great anniversary dinner at DelMonaco's.

That is too funny! Wish I knew, would have looked for them! Can you imagine... "Hi, I'm felandjon. I know your daughter Shorty from LIW" We went Sunday to Saturday night. Got a good rate at the hotel. The flight was a little pricier than we would have liked to have spent but what are you going to do when you book a flight the night before!
We didn't get to DelMonico's but we did get to dine at some of the restaurants we can't get into in NY like Tao and Nobu! Just as good there as here! We tried to make a reservation at DelMonico's but each night we were available, the earliest they had was at 10:30. Now I'm a night person and all, but that is just too late!

We all could have gotten together! DH and I, Shorty's parents and your friends!
I'm just glad everyone changed their plans and were safe. Hopefully everyone had as good a time as we did (and were succesful as well )
