I'm a curtain virgin...what do I need?
I like the look of panels. So I probably need 4 panels for my double windows and a rod. Do I also need an inside layer, or just the panels? I've seen so many variations.

you could do whatever you prefer really. i like the look of wood blinds and then the 2 panel curtains kind of just framing the window. you could do a double layer with sheers behind. its totally a style preference

Well, I went to JC Penney and they had a great sale! I bought 4 panels each for my living room and bedroom, and I've decided to go with bare windows underneath. I love that look. I'll post pictures of the whole apt when we're totally settled in. I LOVE our new place
