I'm a Civilzation widow tonight
This is interesting. My DH, his brother and BIL's coworker are playing Civilization and since BIL is away on vacation with his family, DH is playing BIL and his own turns. He has been "lost" in the home office for a few hours now.
What a scary addictive game.

It started as a board game and then became a computer game. It is turn-based or single player. You create a civilization and give them education, resources, religion, etc. You fight other groups to conquer them.

Hubby has that game. His latest obsession is SoCom which you play via the PS2 and the computer - so he plays with his brother and cousins. I like to think of it as quality family bonding time  .
