Im 2-3 cm dilated and 90% effaced!!
I had my first internal today (at 37 weeks) and was surprised at how far along I was....how are you other December moms doing?

yah for you!! 
i'm almost 36weeks but haven't had my internal yet. went to do a growth sono and the tech told me that DS's head is pretty low. hopefully, i'll be there soon!

I am very jealous. I went yesterday and nothing is happening yet, I am 38 weeks.
On a good note, baby has dropped alot and it is all in position....

Did your doctor tell you how soon you should expect to go into labor?

A co worker told me she was 2 cm for 3 weeks before her water broke on her due date.... I think its pretty much anyone's guess...

My baby is still high though..hasnt really dropped too much. The dr. said that it really doesnt tell us anything about when the baby will come...you could stay that way for weeks..but he did say that its a really good thing to know that Ill be going into labor already dilated since alot of people start labor and have no dilation....so I have less to go when I do go into labor...however many weeks away that may be....

Dont worry..my baby hasnt really dropped too much...and you can be 3 cm for weeks or be not dilated at all and go into labor the next day...so you never know!!
