ikea kitchen- anyone have them
did you do it yourself or have them install? and if you did it yourself did you order online and was it extremely difficult? Ilove the look of some of there kitchens and the prices seem really great looking for feedback, thanks

my good friend had one in old apt and one in her new- I cannot tell you how nice it looks and it looks $$$$$$$
they did the work themselves

We have them and love them. It was so easy to install, you can do it in one day. I wouldn't order them online, I would go their because you might need things like fillers and wall panels that you might not even think of (we didnt). You would need a wall panel if the last cabinet is exposed because the sides are a light color.

We have them and love them. It was so easy to install, you can do it in one day. I wouldn't order them online, I would go their because you might need things like fillers and wall panels that you might not even think of (we didnt). You would need a wall panel if the last cabinet is exposed because the sides are a light color.

Don't have them but I want them. I've heard nothing but good things about Ikea Kitchens. I even read an article once in some home magazine and a professional chef (can't remember his name) redid his kitchen using ikea cabinets. He said that he splurged on everything else appliances, countertops, etc. but went for the ikea cabinets because they look nice and are sturdy and much more affordable compared to custom cabinets.

I've read similar things, and while DH and I are not ready to re-do, when we are we will likely use IKEA for the cabinets- the kitchens in their catalogs are gorgeous, and I too would rather splurge on appliances and other things I want.

your kitchen is EXACTLY what I want my kitchen to look like right down to the wall color. cabinets etc.
