Ikea Cabinet Spinoff
- So what Ikea cabinets do you have?
- What room?
- What color?
- Do you love them?
- Price Range?
I'm looking to buy cabinets for our laundry room and since I see that so many of you have bought them for your laundry room already, I was just wondering if I could get more info before we go shopping for them.  TIA!!!

i know a few people did their kitchen over with them, my bil swears by them he said in the city all he did was ikea in NYC apartments. I really am angry i didn't get them for the laundry room!!! Sorry i couldn't be more of a help just more of a  to myself.

we just got the IKEA Godmorgon for our bathroom vanity. I'm surprised how "well made" it is not like my IKEA fall apart in 2 years dresser.
We just got it, so I don't have long term success...just initial

We have two cabinets hanging over our washer and dryer in our laundry room. Then we have a narrow space between the wall and washer that i was just going to get a base cabinet but they don't make counter tops that small. So we got the high style pantry that we use in that space instead. I would have to look up the exact names of them. But we got all three in all white.

how wide is the high pantry style one? I would love this kind for our laundry room. I have to get my butt to Ikea to see what they have that we might be able to use.

I just looked at ikea's site and they have a 24 inch wide and a 15 inch. i believe ours is 15 in, by just looking at the prices online. Ours pulls out, but they do have the same cabinet with a door, which would make it cheaper. They have so many different options , you have to go to the store and take a look. When we got ours i think we spent about 4 hours there.

thanks for the info. 15 inches would be perfect for our area. I would probably prefer a door, so that is a good option. i'll have to drag DH there soon.  thanks.

do you guys think cabinets at Ikea are less expensive than the ones Home Depot/Lowes sell? you know the ones you can just buy at the store that come in a box?
i need to do the least expensive cabinets possible in my laundry room to save $$

they are less expensive then lowes/home depot UNLESS you find a return or discount.

I've waited three years & I can't take it anymore. It's going to be a slow process, but we are getting there.
We are doing white washer/dryer, white cabinets, tile floor, a darker blue/green paint and black & white damask accents. I can't wait to finish it.
