If you've been to Sesame Place in the summer....

Is it REALLY hot there? My daughters in laws family is planning to go next Aug. My son in laws mom said it's not as hot there as it is here in the summer. She has a medical condition that requires her to wear compression hose all the time. She usually wears long pants and sneakers (yes even in the summer) She is just wondering if she'll be too hot if they go in Aug? She will probably be able to take them off for awhile to go in some of the water things with my granddaughter. She suggested maybe they go the end of June instead of the middle of the summer. Also, do they rent strollers? Are they clean? She has a small car and would rather leave her stroller home so she has room in the back for other things. Thanks.

Re: If you've been to Sesame Place in the summer....

We've gone multiple times, and for us anyway, we always find it to be pretty hot there. Mainly because there's a lot of open space and not as many trees.

June is a good time to go, but I've found it to be pretty hot there early and late summer, even the one day in late September we went last year.

Now that being said, there's alot of water stuff to do to cool off.

They do rent strollers for about $15 or so per day. They're generally well kept, but I would advise spraying it down with Lysol before letting a child ride in it.

I'm pretty sure the strollers are $18, same price as the lockers. We did not rent a stroller but from what I saw their stroller conopy do not offer enough shade. My 1 yr old would not be able to sleep in it so we brought our reclinable one.
We went early June and it was 95degrees. The hottest time was when we were sitting out in the open watching the parade because there was no shade. But otherwise you can go indoors and cool down real quick with the AC.
