If you've been to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

Is this parade scary at all for very young children?

I watched the youtube video and there were some ghosts and zombies (granted they were dancing). My kids got very scared last Halloween when our neighbor had her face painted. As much as she was smiling, it freaked my kids out.

Will I be able to buy the tickets the day of the party? Do they sell out?

We are going to Disney next week. I don't want to buy tickets beforehand because I know the weather is fickle this time of year. I have been checking the weather frequently and it basically looks like everyday is isolated thunderstorms or PM storms. I do not want to go if it is going to be raining.

For future reference, is Columbus Day weekend very crowded for this event? If we don't get to go this trip, the only fall time we would go to Disney will most lkely be Columbus Day weekend. I don't plan to pull the kids out of school once they start elementary school.

Sorry posting under my business .

We went last year , and my boys were 2.
They were afraid of everything at that age , but they loved it !
We were very surprised and lucked out .
It was amazing and they didnt act scary or anything .

We actually went the week of Columbus Day and that weekend was packed . I honestly don't think I'll ever go back at that time . Ride lines were insane !

Anytime school is out it is very crowded. Some MNSSHP do sell out. You take a chance when you buy last minute. I know Halloween sells out if a school break falls on a night it might.

I took my then 15 month old who loved it and was not scared.

I'm assuming the party does not get cancelled if there is some rain.

I will have to risk it for next Friday's party. It is supposed to be a slow time. We plan to go to MK on thurs so we'll buy the tickets then if the weather is supposed to be clear.

We were just in disney 2 weeks ago and went to MNSSHP the first night, Sept 10th! My dd's are 10 months and 3 years old and both loved it and had a blast dressing up! The parade was awesome, and we met characters we normally wouldn't have gotten to meet in the parks, like the 7 dwarfs (wait was over an hour but so well worth it) and Gaston...need I say more! Lol buy the tickets, totally worth every penny! Also, we usually go for the MVMCP, and found the fireworks to be even better this time!

If the party you want to do is on a Friday night, I would def. buy tix in advance. The weekend parties tend to be more packed with locals than the weekday ones (school night)
