if you're lactose intolerant...
has pregnancy made it worse?
i had a strong desire for milk the other day and drank lactaid milk straight up...i had the worst stomach pains...just as if i had drank regular milk. wth?
i forgot to ask my ob if it could be something pregnancy related but i'm in no rush so i thought i'd ask here too...tia!

I am severely lactose intolerant. Milk, ice cream, and cheese kill me... When I was pregnant, I could eat ice cream and cheese all I wanted without taking Lactaid pills... Milk would still bother me if I had too much.. Right after I had DS, cheese was killing me again but I was able to eat a scoop of ice cream with no problems.. Lactaid milk shouldn't have bothered you. Maybe it was too cold...

Pregnancy made it better for me. Also, lactaid milk has no lactose, so it's probably something else that made you feel so sick. Not sure what though!
