if your toddler didn't use a blanket until later....
what type of blanket should i give for the 1st one? do your dc's actually re-cover themselves after they kick it off?
josh is 16 months and never had a blanket and rolls around his crib all night so i'm not sure if there is even a point to put a blanket on him at this point. any thoughts?
thanks!

Jack sleeps in a sleepsack.
I am still too paranoid to use a blanket and he is ALL over the crib so I don't think there would be much point to it.

Nope - he walks all over his crib in it and doesn't fall. They do sell the sleepsacks with the feet if you are worried though!

Thomas uses a sleep sack to stay warm because he kicks blankets off and moves around too much to stay warm with a blanket but I do put a blanket in the crib because he likes to hold it and cuddles with it. It's a Koala Baby brand from BRU light thermal knit. He has them in a bunch of colors.

Did you see those (the one with the feet) in the stores?
DS uses a blanket to fall asleep. It is removed when he sleeps. He is all over his crib and will put the blanket in his mouth if he does not find his pacifier. So I don't leave it in his crib.
So far I have used 2 PJs on him. This regular PJs and I use the foot fleece 1 piece with the zipper on top. Diana, is that the one you are talking about?

Re: if your toddler didn't use a blanket until later....
LAst winter, I had my son in a sleep sack, or dressed him in heavy pjs. I also got the sleep sack with the feet (One step ahead). I am not sure what I am going to do this year. He hates having blankets over him, just not sure if I will put him in the sleep sack, or just bundle him in warm pjs.
