if your dc has a high fever from teething, how long in a bath?
if your dc has a high fever from teething, how long in a bath to break the fever? poor thing was chivering so bad but was such a trooper and would've stayed as long as i wanted him too. is there a too long in a luke warm bath?
and if u alternate tylenol and motrin (generic of course ) do you over lap? if so how?

Tylenol ever 4 hours; motrin every 6...
you just let him in there for a bit to cool him down. doesn't have to be too long.
then put him in light clothes and make sure to give him water.. that'll help as well.

Maybe a BTDT mom has better advice, but DD had a high fever last night (her first fever ever so I was on the phone to the ped asap!) and I dont know if it was from teething or what but here's what the dr told me to do.
lukewarm bath, not cool and if she shivers take her out because shivering can cause the fever to go higher ( I didn't ask why or how though).
alternate motrin with tylenol every 4 hours. not sure what you mean by overlap but I basically did the above. so say, I gave her tylenol at 4pm, I then gave her motrin at 8pm, then tylenol at 12am etc...seems to have worked because her fever broke this morning, thank goodness.
Hoping your little one feels better soon!!!

the fever was maybe 102-103. i didn't actually check until after i gave motrin and cooled him down with a wash cloth and fluids bc i was in a rush to do that first. when i finallly cooled him, i checked and it ws 101.
he JUST cut his 1st tooth so i know it's from that. he's almost 14 months and teethings been really hard and slow for him. i can tell how much it hurts and no other issues.

I agree. Teething generally doesnt go over 101.

hmm, i guess i'll have to wait and see if anything else happens. i still can't believe he made it this long with NO teeth though!
