If your DC goes to Pre-School now...
What do you plan on doing in the summer? DS is 2.5 and goes to school 2 days a week, next year he will be going into the 3's program and we plan on doing 3 or 4 days.
I am thinking if I don't send him to a program in the summer am I asking for trouble come Sept with separation, interaction with other kids, etc..?
Just curious what other parents are doing.

We did the school's summer program last summer and I signed up for that again this year. It's not the whole summer, runs from right after July 4 until mid-August.

We're hoping to get into the town's camp for a few weeks.. It's just MWF from 8:30 - 11:30... I might throw a few weeks in of camp at his school since they get done with preschool so early for the summer...

Just classes (swim, soccer, maybe dance). I am a teacher so I like to have freedom in the summer and don't want a FT program for her

Next year though my father will be back in TX so they can split the summer. then by 7 I think we can find her a summer program

We're probably going to do the Summer Camp program that is at ds' nursery school again. We did it 2x a week last year because we had never left him on his own before & he was starting a 2 day program in the fall. Now that he's older & he'll be doing a 3 day pre-school program there next Sept.l we'll probably send him 3x a week this summer to get him used to the extra day.

dd just started school last week and they end mid june. The offer a summer program but I am not sure what it entails but I believe it goes by weeks and you pay for what weeks you want.
I will probably pick a few weeks to send her. We are in Boston and travel to LI a lot and vacations and stuff and we are having a baby in March so I know family will want to travel as well.
I want to keep a semi schedule for her.
