If your DC get's car sick...
what do you do for them?
DD throws up, or says she's going to throw up, if we're in the car longer than 20 minutes. I called the ped and they said they don't give anything to DC's under 6. DD is 3 1/2.
We have a minivan and she used to sit all the way in the back. I thought that was the problem but we recently moved her to the middle and she still says she's going to be sick.
I think it might be in her head at times, but I can't be sure, so I squeeze back there and wind up holding a bag to her mouth for the rest of the car ride.
Easter I was squeezed back there for 1 1/2 hrs. Not Fun!

Re: If your DC get's car sick...
I don't have a child that's gets carsick but I hate the car. I get so nauseous in the back seat and I have to look foward at all times. I can't read in the car. Coke usually helps me ( not the best for kids I know), I have never actually got sick though.
Does she actually throw up? Did she Once and think she's going to again? Does she just want you to sit back with her?
I'm sorry I can't be more help but I was wondering those questions when I read it. Maybe you can find the root of the problem. Maybe a piece of bread?

Does she watch movies or play games? This sets DS off. We just have a bucket ready for him. he has definitely gotten better with age (he's almost 5)
