if your DC fell asleep at the bottle before bedtime...
...how did you break that habit?
I have a so-so bedtime routine established with DD...bath, lotion, pjs, book and a bottle she falls asleep at.
my problem is: she wakes up alooot at night (like 4+ times) to nurse and go back to sleep. i'm thinking she wakes up and doesn't know how to fall back asleep cause she associates eating with falling asleep. i need her to be able to fall asleep on her own, but don't know how to do that.
if you broke the habit, how did you get your DC to fall asleep? any help you mommies can provide would be so appreciated! i need to sleep longer than two hour stretches at a time!! please!!

Try the bottle at the beginning of the routine and put her down awake so she can learn to soothe herself to sleep.

ahaaaa..there's a thought! thanks!
We got DS a crib music maker. He learned how to turn it on and played with it for a few days before we put it in his crib. Nearly a year later he still plays it before going to sleep.
