If your dc drinks milk before bed...
How much do they drink?
Do they drink it in a bottle or sippy/straw cup?
How close to bed time do they drink it?
DS is still nursing morning and night but I have a few events and my freezer supply is almost done so I think we may to try it soon.

Anywhere from a half to a whole straw sippy of milk about 30-15 mins before bed time (when we start reading books).

DS drinks a 6oz sippy cup before bed, while I am getting him ready for bed. he literally lays on the changing table with the cup, I change his diaper and change him into his PJs. Then we read a book or two and into the crib.

6-8oz in a bottle. drink bottle as I read to him then brush teeth. then bedtime.

About 4 ounces (just a night cap!  ) in a bottle.
She won't drink milk from a cup.
She drinks it right before bed- and when she is done she goes right in the crib.

G. and H. drink a bottle before bed. Usually 8 oz.
It's the only time I still give them a bottle.
They eat dinner @ 630 and end it with their bottles. Then I brush their teeth and they go to bed.

DS drinks up to a 10 oz straw sippy cup of milk before bed. About 15-30 minutes before bed.
He is 17 months old.

You might want to try less milk before bed. If DC is getting older, you have to think of potty training.

if we give it to him after bath, seems like it makes his breath smell

WE pretty much do the same. Dd is 14 months old and she eats dinner around 6:00 pm and when she is finished she then gets a full straw sippy cup of milk (7 ounces). Then we do bath time and bedtime routine @ 7:30-7:45
