if your DC couldn't tolerate milk based formula or dairy in a BM diet...when did you try yogurt,cheese, etc

I BF my DS and don't eat any dairy. He is 8 months old and I am looking for more food ideas. Hoping to give cheese and yogurt a try....what do you think?

DD had protein allergy on was on Neocate..I tried yogurt at around 9-10 months and it was a disaster-crankiness, diar., gassy, rash..
So I waiting til 12 months for all dairy products.

She did fine at that age...nothing..no more allergy...she still isn't a big cheese fan at all at 20.5 months.

I cut out dairy and DD is now 20 months and I still have not introduced dairy because she still has allergies to it. I am going to get her re-tested when she turns 2.

DD was on soy formula because of an allergy to regular formula. I tried yo-baby yogurt at 7 months and it was a disaster...rash, vomiting, etc.

At about 9-10 months, I gave her the yo-baby yogurt again and she was totally fine with it. She also ate cheese (and loves it to this day!).

I'm getting the feeling I should wait a few months then
