If your child skips a nap...
do you change the day's schedule? If you do, how?
DD was been napping pretty well lately (at least an hour in the morning, about 45 mins in the afternoon, and STTN 7:30-6ish). But this morning she broke her streak. Her morning nap was half an hour. Is it a bad idea to try and put her down again? When? She's 5 and a half months.

Re: If your child skips a nap...
If DD only gives me a short nap I will try to get her down at a later time but not too close to bedtime, otherwise by 5pm we are dealing with a MONSTER.
ETA- I'd just put her down for her regular afternoon nap and pray for a good one

Re: If your child skips a nap...
I would normally just forget about the lost half hour. Maybe she will sleep a little longer this afternoon. I normally try not to change her routine. I am pretty good with keeping eatting times within a half hour. If the naps dont work out I don't really care about that.
