If your child had an upper GI,

how long did it take for them to pass the barium?

I had it done with my oldest son, and he passed it that night....sorry TMI, but it was really hard and round, but I helped by pushes his legs up to his stomach.

Chase has been sooo constipated today...crying and in pain (not constantly in pain thank goodness).

I gave him a suppository and hes on a regimen on mylanta....It didnt work, so a couple of hours later I gave him apples. He went to the bathroom and it was pure liquid....but I was happy because I thought it was all out.

Now he has been trying to push and I feel soo bad....he actually just fell asleep because I think hes wearing himself out.

The dr told me to give me mylanta and another suppository..I did about an hour ago, and still nothing...I feel soo bad

Any suggestions?---he didn't mention prunes...
