If your baby takes Prevacid...
where did you get it from? If you live in Nassau, that would be most appreciated. The only place I found so far is in Melville and I live in Levittown!
ETA: Also, was it covered under your insurance?

I got it at Rockville Centre Pharmacy. It was covered by insurance. I think I paid $12 or $7, not sure which. Don't get it flavored. It can cause it to become less potent over time. It starts to change color within days if you do. I was getting it flavored bc DS was horrible about taking it but discovered the above and went back to unflavored. By this point he was a little older, 5 months maybe and so he took it fine. DS1 was on Zantac which tastes horrible and alwasy took it no problem, DS2 was just less accepting of horrible tastes.

If your baby takes Prevacid...
DS has been on the quick dissolve tabs since he was about 6 months old. We get them at CVS and they are covered but we needed pre approval. They are about $258/month because we have a high deductible plan. He takes them with no problem, always has, and now even asks for his medicine. He will be 3 in Sept.

Thanks ladies...I wish I would have asked this question yesterday. I had the Melville place fill it but they have annoyed me already (they said they didn't receive my prescription and then miraculously called back 10 minutes later and received it - even though I never resent and sent it yesterday...and said my insurance doesn't cover and asked for credit card, then when I called and spoke to someone at insurance and they told me it has a 0 copay and then I called back and they said they would look into it again.

We got (over a year ago) from CVS in Bellmore without a problem. It was covered, but we had about a $60 copay, if I recall correctly.
