If you were to get a gift cert. for pro photos, where would you want it from--or give me other gift ideas

I want to buy someone a gift certificate to get professional photos done. The gift certificate would be a baby shower gift. I would prefer to only spend $100, but I may go up to $150. My wedding photographer, who does great baby photos, charges more than that just for the photo session. I do not want to spend more because I have helped with the shower, plus I will be expected to pay for more things when the baby is born.

Here is the deal--My SIL does not have much on her registry at all, especially for someone having a big shower. She does not know the sex of her baby, but it seems like she does not want to pick anything gender neutral to start with. Also, she and my MIL are buying clothing and bedding and there is none of that going on the registry. She did not register for the next size up carseat, or other things that the baby will later grow into. However, because I do not have kids, I do not want to pick that stuff out without doing research, which I really don't have time to do right now, selfish as that sounds.

If you have ideas for a place for pictures or an alternate idea in my price range, please help. I noticed that gift certificates for photos at Sears come nicely wrapped with a bow and I am considering that.

I would want one from Kiddie Kandids in BRU.

Too pricey for me to pay for the pics myself so I would have loved that

I haven given this gift before...I have do it for Kiddie Kandids at BRU, but also Picutre People is a good option also!

KK at BRU....as long as it's convenient for her. I would not want a studio or photographer that was inconvenient to travel to (I say this because the nearest KK is 45-1 hr away down here).

Maybe check craigslist for a newer photographer that is willing to give you a great deal??

OR.....have Barb do it and the money gets donated to DebG's fund

She is registered at Buy Buy Baby, but BRU is actually closer to her. I didn't think Barbara was still doing photo shoots but it would be great if she was. My SIL lives in the same town as Barbara and would love her pictures! But, I also love the idea of giving a full package with prints.

ETA: I just found Barb's post and she is going to start scheduling people for Spring on Saturdays. I have to decide whether I want to give my SIL a place with a studio to take the baby to, what to do about prints, etc. And with the baby not due until late May, she may not want to take the baby for pics for a while. If I don't get this gift cert. through Barbara, I at least have to show my SIL her work so she can go on her own when Barbara has future openings!!!!
