If you were at work and spilled a cup of tea

on your shirt, crotch, pants, chair, floor, desk, etc...would you stay at work or would you just go home?

Unfortunately I work an hour away so I don't have the option of running home to change and coming back.

I know it's the hormones but I got so upset because 3 women saw the aftermath and didn't even offer to help...they were just like, "Oh your poor thing! How did you do that?!"

I just feel like crying Chat Icon

i would go to the nearest store - get a stain stick or tide to go or something like that - try to get it out - if it didn't work and it was bothering me - then i'd go home.

It depends. I can't anymore time off because I am trying to save it all for doctors appt and then maternity leave. But if I had extra days I would leave and go to sleep. Chat Icon

It would bother me - could you run at lunch time to Target or something? I would do that... Chat Icon

It's not the stain so much as it is the soaking wetness. I soaked my shirt in water to get rid of the half and half but it has to still be in my pants...and they're jeans which take FOREVER TO DRY! Even my underwear is wet Chat Icon

UGH - take some paper towels to the shirt and jeans as best you can. One on top and one on the inside and PRESS...to try and get the excess water out...

if it'll bother you that much - GO HOME! It's Friday!

If i could swing it financially, I would go to the closest store and buy myself a suitable but inexpensive replacement outfit.

not sure if I could suck it up the whole day.

Chat Icon sorry, I know how much that sucks.

Thanks ladies...unfortunately I think I'm just going to have to suck it up. I mentioned it in an email to my supervisor (who didn't see it) and all she said was, "Oh that sucks! I've done stuff like that." So I guess I'm stuck here with my portable heater aimed at my crotch.

I'd taken an early lunch and run out and buy a new outfit.
- unfortunately i'm sloppy and did this once before.

I dont think I would want to use a day for this.

I'd to the nearest GAP. I work in the city so it is all within walking distance. It is a crumby day out. I would stick it out if you can, don't waste a day on this. With your little heater you should be dry soon.
