if you use powder formula for your infant..

do you have to boil the water even if its boiled water? I was told to do this, however does anyone really do this? my DD is 6 weeks. Thanks!

I just use filtered water from the refrigerator and put it into a pitcher with the powder and shake shake shake.

I never boiled water...I used to leave the brita filter on the countertop and use room temp water for her bottles Chat Icon

I never boiled. I either use tap water or water out of the filter on my fridge.

I boil the water. I sanitize the nipples every night in boiling water so it's not a big deal to throw another pot on.

not a big deal but she had alot of stomach issues

Our ped told us tap water is best. I just used warm tap water.

I use bottled water (Poland Spring) My Ped said bottled, boiled or filtered is fine.

ETA: If your trying to cut down on waste and save $ I'd use a brita water pitcher and leave it out on the counter.

I did and will again, boil water daily and put it in a pitcher to use. My ped told me not to use tap water without boiling it
