If you use a tinted mositurizer...
Do you use a primer or foundation as well?
I havent worn foundation in forever, skin is generally even toned and I use LM tinted mositurizer, was wondering if I wanted to use a foundation, would I use a primer...b/c I'm interested in using one ( primer) ..or trying one.

I use the LM tinted moisturizer as well and I also use a light powder over that before I apply my makeup.

Most of the time. I am running low on primer and have been skipping it the last few days and the TM is going on and staying on just fine.

Primer makes me break out, so I just use a bit of translucent powder in my t-zone after the tinted moisturizer.

I really never wear make up and I know nothing about it- but I am less then thrilled with my skin lately and I need some help

beth, honestly, tinted moisturizer is nothing more than than foundation mixed with moisturizer.
ive used a few and like them. but then i realized they were making me way too oily. (i figured out i only need to moisturize at night)
they are more sheer than a foundation would give you. so if you are hesitant to start wearing foundation, it gives buildable coverage with moisture at the same time.

my skin is dry in the winter- I wouldn't use it in the summer when I have some color- I am not going to the tanning salon anymore and I don't feel like myself - I am so pale

i hear ya!
if you're into self tanners...i use alba botanica which is virtually all natural, if not completely. its called 'sun' and i use it on my face and body. i avoid the sun even in summer, and this helps me always have some color.

i actually cant find it anywhere, so i started ordering it off their site. i usually order two at a time. theyre pretty cheap, and i use it on my whole body. its the golden tan one, its a little orange tube-like thing. if you want, ill FM you a pic it

I looooooove You Rebel Lite (by Benefit)
I always brush powder over it.
To me, it's just a lighter version of foundation or a "one step" process rather than moisturizer, then foundation, then powder etc. it blends a lot more easily than foundation.

I use LM tintem mousturizer also and I use a primer. I tried the LM primer but I prefer smashbox. My face is so oily, the primer helps everything stay put. I would use it under foundation too.

Primers work great with a tinted moisturizer, because the help even out skin tone and texture. It will definitely make the tintes moisturizer look even better.
I wouldn't recommend foundation over tinted moisturizer-it might look too heavy. You could just use a concealer in the spots you feel you need more coverage.
I love the Laura Mercier Tinted moisturizer AND the Secret Camouflage concealer.
That line is amazing.
