Was told by ped to give 20 min per breast & then bottle til kid stopped eating.
Did this til about 1 mo when kid didn't need bottle & went to breast only. I pumped too (after feeding).

I supplememtned for the first month. I would offer 1oz of formula after nursing. Sometimes she took it sometimes she did not. By month two I had pumped enough back supply that I could top her off with BM if needed.

I supplement the whole time I breast feed. I usually give 2-4 oz. in the morning. Sometimes mid afternoon is about 2oz too. My ds is 10 weeks. But I did this with my dd as well.

2 oz bm then 2-3 oz formula for each feeding until I didn't pump anything
