If you sell on eBay: I have a question

What kind of fees do they charge? I can't find the actually number on their website. Is it a percentage of sale or a flat rate per transaction?

I have a few things i want to sell, so i am trying to figure out if it's worth it.

usually they give you 50 free listings a month. you get 1 picture free. Ebay gets about 9% of the selling price. 11% for a set price opposed to auction type. then Paypal get about 4%.

I'm on ebay
I sell bags, clothing etc. I amertise the shipping in as well b/c I'm finding that free shipping is really appealing to customers.
Paypal does take a fee but I have had weeks where almost 300+ people have looked at a bag. If I had a brick & mortar store and paid rent I probably would haven't that many people walk through my doors in a week.

I'm also tweeting and adding my auctions on pinterest as often as I can to get more people to my auctions.

Good luck!

Yep, your best bet if to find b/s/t pages on Facebook or online and skip ebays fees altogether. what things are you trying to sell? I stopped selling on ebay when they increased their fees to 9% and now they charge 9% on the shippinf fees you charge, a little greedy IMO

9% of the SHIPPING fee??? that's just insane and incredibly greedy, I agree!

I have a pair of shoes I am trying to sell. They are brand new with original box. Where could I take them to sell, i wonder...
