If you ordered something on eBay and was sent the wrong item...
how long would you give the seller to respond before taking other action?
this seller has a very good feedback rating and is active. she currently has 60 items for sale - so I assume that she would check on them and her email fairly frequently.

well I gave her more than 24 hrs and I opened a payment dispute with PayPal.
she wasted no time sending me an invoice - 5 minutes after the auction ended.

oh really? I didn't know that. I haven't sold anything on there in over a year.
I don't want my money back, I just want the right item.

that was my thought too - how can she not be checking on her items? when I was an active seller, even if I had one thing for sale, I would check several time a day

I would give two full days. People have lives, mistakes happen and I wouldn't jump the gun.
