Yes. Time.
Seriously tho, when I did make my own I used ice cube trays to store the batches. She was only eating 1-2 cubes a solid feeding.
I hear the Baby Brezza is wonderful and makes it quite effortless. Maybe look into that.

I didn't buy anything special at all. I use ice cube trays, a steamer insert that goes in a regular pot, my food processor, and my blender. I would be sure to add bowls with lids that are microwave safe and bpa free. I have a four pack from Nuk that I like.

Re: if you make your own baby food....
I ended up returning what I had registered and received to just use my regular food processor which has been working out great.
What I use all the time (and already had in my kitchen): food processor -dedicated ice cube trays -couple of spatulas -steamer basket -freezer bags to store cubes -larger cups that i can store multiple portions in for storage purposes or when i'm traveling and feeding them on the go

Couldn't have said it better myself. Exactly what I use.

I use the oxo tot blocks baby food containers (they come in four 4 ounce or six 2 ounce). I have three packs of the four ounce and one of the two ounce). I either use the steamer or i bake in Pyrex. I use my Braun hand blender to purée. I also have a mill, but I never used it.

When you use ice cube trays, do you cover them at all?
