If you know about GPS which one is better?

I want to get my boyfriend a new GPS for Fathers Day to replace an old TOM TOM. He uses it for work on a daily basis all day long. He can't drive on parkways and his old one doesn't have an option to give a route avoiding them.

I saw these 2 on sale on BestBuy.com...which do you think is better? Will either of these avoid parkways? I'm not sure what to look for when it comes to that.

I have the 680 so Im going with the 780 being better and yes you can avoid parkways all you have to do is put in that its a truck and it wont go on parkways

I have the 255w Garmin and I love it!!

if i were you i'd just compare the specs and decide which ones are detramental on ones that are not.
For me i didn't go more expensive than the one i have cause i did not need games, voice commands, etc.

Thanks guys. I ended up ordering the 780. It had better reviews on a site I just went on.
