LOL me too!! I wouldn't think it needs to be done that often-- maybe once a year, if that?
HAHAHA! that's funny. embarrasingly enough, it was like once every two years or so. it's so tedious and annoying to do... especially if you have cabinets with logs of detail. crud. am i supposed to do it more often?

Polish...no but I use Murphys oil soap to clean them at least 3 times a year...It probably should be more!

Spot clean daily (wipe down where you really touch)
murphys soap once every two months with full polish
my mom has a cleaning lady do it every two weeks now which i think is a bit much and i am going to see how it affects the finish with all that cleaning since i have a while before i get a new kitchen.
