If you have a very physical job?....

How long do you plan to work for? I am on my feet for at least 8 hours a day 4x a week I am only in my 1st trimester but man am I beat! I am going to work until the very end but Im hoping I make it! Just wondering about the rest of you ladies!

I'm an electrician. I wanted to work as long as possible since unemployment is always so bad in my industry. I started working at 24 weeks and had to stop in my 33rd week due to a few contractions. I felt great, but my body was telling me otherwise. I do think being so active helped me have an amazing pregnancy. Most of the men that I worked with were amazed at how well I was handling the work load.

I'm on my feet all day as well. I worked all the way up until I gave birth. It was very difficult towards the end. I was very uncomfortable and tired by the 2nd half of my day.

Same. I feel disabled at the end of the day kwim? I have no idea if I will be able to handle this til the end. Grr

I work as a cook at a hotel and on my feet 8-9 straight hours without a break. My first pregnancy I lasted until 37 weeks and then put on BR with DD. I am trying to hold out as long as I can. I work a 40 hr a week schedule and by the end of the day I am beat.
