If you have a minivan
And you don't use the third row seats all the time, do you leave them up or put them down for more space in the back?

They're usually up, unless I need the space. If we're going to Costco or need to carry something big, I put them down. But at any time I could be piling more people in than my 2 DC, so I just leave them up.

Same here, otherwise if I put anything in the back when the seats are down, it just ends up rolling all over the place!

We keep the 1/3 seat up and the 2/3 seat down. That way, I can put a small batch of groceries, a few bags, etc. in the hole in the back (from the 1/3 seat being up) without them being thrown all around...and then lay a stroller, bike, etc on the 2/3 seats that are laying flat.

Before I had DD, the boys were in the captains chairs in the middle row w the middle seat out. The third row was usually 1/3 down, 2/3 up but we have the odyssey and switched the 3rd row configuration often since it just takes a pull of the cord.
