If you have a ceramic glass cooktop...
What do you use to clean it?
I have never had one and my new home does. I read the manual and it said I should only use the Kenmore brand cleaner for the cooktop. I think that's just a lame excuse to get you to spend more money on a Kenmore product.
Any suggestions?

No scratch, non toxic cleanser that you can get for 89 cents a can at most supermarkets.
It's been around for over 100 years. You can also use it to clean glass shower doors and Pyrex cookware.
I talk this up so much I should get free cans from the company
You still have to rinse the cook top and clean with vinegar and water or a glass cleaner. Image Attachment(s):

I buy ceramic Cooktop cleaner at target or the supermarket. Its pretty cheap. The cleaning lady uses a razor blade to scrape stuff off but Im scared to try that.

Weiman Cooktop Cleaner with the red Weiman cooktop scrubber (nonabrasive pad). I think it works great. Their stainless steel cleaner is the best I've found.

For the top, plain ol windex works fine. For the burners, I use the dawn power dissolver and it works well and I have beige burners!

Believe it or not...
Salt.
I pour some salt on the burn marks and then scrub with a magic eraser. They come right out.

I use soft scrub and windex. I know it tells you soft scrub could scratch it but I haven't had a problem yet.
