If you had a clothesline at your shower...
how did you make it?
I want to hang up the clothes I get as gifts on a clothesline, but am not sure how to make one. I'm team  and now I'm wondering will I even get any clothes?
I have clothes pins to hang the clothes up...

just while opening gifts, I was going to have a friend hang any clothes baby receives on a clothesline behind or next to me so everyone can see
I don't know...maybe I shouldn't bother now
My shower is THIS SUNDAY!

its really easy we did it for DH's cousin. get a spool of ribbon or rope from your local hardware store and a package of clothes pins.
The hardest thing is finding a place to hang it. I've been to showers where people utilize window latches, the front of a bar, stair landing rails and even turning two chairs back to back and tied the ribbon across them!
I even had a friend where there was truly no place to tie them so we sat on the side, pinned them on the ribbon, when she was done opening all the gifts 2 of us held the ends up to display the completed line.
As you open your gifts (clothes, bibs, booties) have a friend or two pin them on the line.

We did this for my sister's shower and had the 5 of us setting up the shower bring a bunch of clothes/booties/mittens/hats/etc. and hung those up ahead of time.
As she was opening up gifts we hung up more clothes. HTH

I just had my shower on Sunday and my sister did this. I'm team so she did a shoe, bootie, sock, etc line. It was really cute, she used green ribbon with little ducks on it and tiny baby clothes pins to hang everything.

That's cute. I've never heard or seen it done like that, as you go. I've seen people give a gift of a clothesline where they bring a cute wicker hamper basket filled with the clothesline attached with a full layette/outfits and then two girls held it up for everyone to see.
But I like the idea of having an empty one and making it as you go!
I am and got a fair amount of outfits. Nothing overwhelming but would have made a cute clothesline!
Cute idea!

Someone made me a clothesline before hand (my MIL) and she hung it accross th room. It looked so cute.
Some people put clothes in a hamper all attached so when the girl pulls thm out they are on a long clothesline.
