if you had a big 1st bday- favors
What did you do for favors? I'm doing the Winter One-derland theme and I know that I'm making hot cocoa cones as the favor fr everyone. Should I also do an additional favor for the kids? We're going to have about 90 adults and 30 kids. I will also have an entertainer for an hour and have craft/games tables set up. I was thinking of doing personalized crayon holders in a snowflake print. They're $2.55 each, so that's an additional $80. Should I skip it or get it?

If it were me personally I would skip the extra favors. It's a cute idea. If money isn't an issue for you then go for it. If things are on the tighter end, I think the cones are just fine.

i would skip it. if you want to do something extra oriental trading had some snowflake lollipops and cups i saw.

I actually saw some cute blue swirl lolipops I was thinking of getting. Plus SIL and I will be making cake balls and maybe chocolate covered oreos too in addition to the cake.

We just had our daughters 1st b'day party, our favors were hershey's kisses wrapped in tulle with a tag "kisses from Olivia" xoxoxo.... Kept it simple and everyone loved it!!!!

For our Winter One-derland theme, we gave photo snowglobes to teh adults and gave packages of Hostess Sno-balls to the kids

we did caramel apples and a custom coloring book designed by my brother and brought to life by Len Camacho.  I put that in a bag with some crayons and a couple of little gamey things from the PC $25 bins.

We only did favors for the kids. It was a goldfish theme, so we did sandbuckets with little stuff from Target's dollar spot and the dollar store in them.

I don't think that you need the extra favor. For Gregory's party we are having a dessert/candy buffet. It's the dessert and the favor all in one...that's it.

We did Hershey Kiss favors for the adults and we gave out Goody Bags for any child under 6.

we did tye dye tee shirts for the boys and tye dye tote bags for the girls.
i got a great price on them... $4.95 a piece.
we didnt have a theme, but it was a summer party.
we had an entertainer for 2 hours and a pinata.
i would personally do the favors also
