if you failed the 1hr did you pass the 3hr??

i guess i shouldnt have eaten sooo many jelly beans the night before...

ETA - im not going for the 3hr til next tuesday (the 26th). is there anything i can do in the meantime that would help with the 3hr?? should i cut down on my sugar or carbs? would it matter at this point?

i knew it was possible that i would fail for a host of reasons (i have PCOS, im on metformin, ive eaten a TON of sweets this pregnancy, and although ive only gained about 22lbs, it all came literally in like one month..oh and i had hypoglycemia issues when i was younger...)

I freaked out during my last pregnancy thinking I would have GD (My first son was 10+ lbs), so I decided that I would pig out on sweets the night before as my last chance and failed the one hour. Passed 3 hour.

I failed the 1 hour and passed the 3 hours with my last pregnancy. I have my 1 hour next week for this pregnancy. Really Really Really hoping I dont fail again...the 3 hour is not fun.
From what I have seen on this board, it is fairly common to fail the 1 hour and pass the 3 hour.

Failed the 1 hour with DD but passed the 3.
With this pregnancy, I passed the one hour!

DD #1... I failed both
DD #2... I failed the 1hr and passed the 3hr (barely)
This pregnancy...I failed the 1hr and just took the 3hr yesterday so we shall see.

I failed the 1 hour with 150. I barely passed the 3 hours with 130. My dr. said that is still considering passing even though it is at the higher range of normal.

I hear that it's very common for women to fail the 1 hr but pass the 3 hours! Good luck!

I failed the one hour with I believe a 140. That was the same day that my doctor had me in tears because i had "maxed out" on my weight gain. I ended up taking the 3 hour less than a week later and in that time I had already changed my diet drastically - reduced carbs, sugar, limited salt and drank tons of water. I'm not sure if that made any difference but I passed the 3 hour.

I had to take it early due to my father having diabetes. I failed the 1 hour but passed the 3 hour. I DID eat a few cookies before I took the test. When I took the 1 hour again at 27 weeks, I passed.

Failed one hour and passed 3 hour. They said I just failed...my numbers weren't that high

I failed my 1 hr by 21 points or something and passed my 3 hour with flying colors.

i failed the one hour by 7 points and passed the 3 hour.
