If you don't have a front hall closet-
Please don't move this- lots more people come here vs the Home board
I don't have a hall closet and was thinking about getting a bench with shelf/hooks from pottery barn (Samantha bench- can't post s picture) but I'm not sure if that's what I really want, plus it's expensive
Can you guys post pics of what you have for jackets and shoes by your front door? Or if you have any advice ? Like if you have separate hooks and bench(not a hall tree) do the walls take a beating where the jackets are? Do jackets hang and spill onto the benches and look bad?
Thanks
Never able to make decisions.....

Re: If you don't have a front hall closet-
We don't have one, but we're doing an extension and plan on getting something like this so that we can hang up coats, and they don't have to be visible (I'm anal and like everything to be hidden)

If you don't have a front hall closet-
We do have a coat closet, but I also have a coat stand for easy access of the coats we are currently wearing. We also have an entry bench, but without the coat hooks. Shop around

Re: If you don't have a front hall closet-
I have a high shelf with baskets and coat hooks and then underneath is a matching bench with baskets below. I keep all of our winter gear in the bottom baskets and hang our coats on the hooks in the winter. I don't think it looks messy but I also don't have 10 million things piled up, just one coat each. The wall looks fine, not beat up at all and we've had this set up for years.

Re: If you don't have a front hall closet-
i have two separate piece which allows you to hang the hooks as high as you need.
it keeps what we use daily/mostly. but the rest go into a closet in our room.
something like pictured below, but i took the white cushion off so it all matches.
(I have a narrow entryway, but i took the best pic that i could lol) Image Attachment(s):

I like that yours has five hooks
Thanks for the ideas ladies
Oh and I just discovered Pinterest. Holy cow the possibilities I don't get how people can be so creative! Things like that are contributing to my indecisiveness!!
