If you can't attend an OOS Baptism...

Are you still suppose to send a gift of some sort? While we are planning our own Baptism, we received an invitation for another one, but OOS. Thanks!

Re: If you can't attend an OOS Baptism...

My cousin had an OOT baptism (she lives in VA). We couldnt make it cause I was 37 weeks preggo.

We didnt send a gift. BUT dont go by me cause my family is messed up and we have a lot of drama.

They didnt come to ours in NY either and didnt send a gift as well.

I always do whether it's for a family member or friend.

I do - if it's someone I'm close with, I wil send the same gift as if I am going. If it's someone we're not as close with, we may send a little bit less.

You really should send something - but it can be a small token gift.
