If you are having/had a scheduled c-section.....
did your doctor still do internals at the end?? Just curious. I never got one this time around. I thought they might want to make sure nothing was going on, but I guess it really doesn't matter. Just curious!! Thanks

My OB doesn’t do internals if you’re having a scheduled C-section.
I had placenta previa so internals were out of the question for me anyway.

I am not having one this time, but I did with my twins, and yes, I did have internals. This may have been because I was having issues with preterm contractions for pretty much the whole second half of my pregnancy though.

I asked that at my last appt My dr told me one at 36 weeks, just to check and thats it.

My dr didn't do any internals because I was a sched C. He was ok with me going natural if I went into labor on my own so he said whatever happened, happened.

nope no internals with my last scheduled C. The only time I got checked was 2 times I had so unexplained pain at 36 weeks or so (turned out to be a kidney stone/infection)

#2 was scheduled - no internals. They did just mention that the strep B would be from an internal exam for this one.

With DD, Dr. did one internal...just to check...I think I was like 37/38 weeks?? After that, because we scheduled a c-section (DD was breech), he didn't do any more. He told me that they didn't want to risk putting me into labor
