If you are a teacher with travel plans for Feb break
I just heard on the news that Delta and Jetblue will be waiving their change fees for NY teachers and students due to the storm shortening break. That is helpful for anyone who has airfare and travel plans during the break. The Governor is trying to get more airlines on board. Kudos to those two airlines so far!

the superintendents of nassau sent a letter to the airlines asking them to waive any cancellation or re-scheduling fees. it's nice some of them are obliging.
