If YOU are a notary or know about it... help...
A few years ago, I took the test and passed it. I chose not to get a stamp at that time. How can I get it now and what would I need to do??

first you will need to check if your commission is still good, I know its only valid for like 3 years or so.

This will allow you to do a search by name to see if your notary license is still valid.

Maybe I never even applied for the license. I didn't find my name there. Do you know of anyway to apply for that now? Would NYState have my certification of the passed test?

Did you pay the Department of State & keep your commission current?
If not, I hate to be the one that says it but you may need to retake the test.
