if ultrascreen is normal, why a visit?

Someone from the Dr.'s office just called and told me that the ultrascreen came out normal but the Dr wants me to come in on Tuesday at 9:30 (I had an appointment at 4:00 on Wednesday). At this point I started to freak out and asked to know why the Dr wanted to talk to me on Tuesday. "The Dr is on vacation." Can I know what's going on so I don't freak out all weekend??? "If you're still worried, call tomorrow and I'll try to get in touch with her??

What do you think it is?

this is my first time around so I don't know much of anything, I'm learning as I'm going...

had my original appt at 8 weeks, then my NT scan at 11.5 weeks, and that was on a Thursday, the following monday I had an appt w/the Dr., but over the weekend, I asked my mom "why do I have to go in if they don't even have these results yet??" so I called and asked what it was for...

answer was it was my monthly visit...apparently I have to have an appt once every month, sonogram or not, with a Doctor, just to check urine, hear the heartbeat, and I guess make sure everything else is going okay.

I'm sure that's what it is...did you see a dr at your last u/s? or just the sono tech?

I saw the ultrasound tech at the ultrascreen appt two weeks ago and I already had an appt on Wednesday (with the Dr) but someone from the office called and asked if I can come in on Tuesday (not knowing my appt was on wed.) and said the Dr would like to 'talk to me'. I'm hysterical because she didn't tell me why I needed to have a 'talk' and why it couldn't wait until my appt the next day!!! I called my mom whose in the medical field and she's ready to call them herself because of the way they handled it.. My husband and I are upset and we're both trying to stay calm for each other, but it has us in pieces!
