It didn't bother my DH b/c he said " I don't care what some A$$ hole thinks of me" they have never gotten along..
But I am FURIOUS at how he spoke to my DH!!!

Knowing me and my mouth Id tell them to go f off. But thats just me, DH on the otehr hand would use a more tactful approach, tell me about it then I would call and tell them to F off anyways.

sorry gals, but if DH wasn't offended, you gotta keep quiet. Not to be sexist, but it's a man's job to fight his battles, not his wife's. Confronting this guy will do more harm than good, you'll embarrass your DH and make him look like a wuss. IMO

No its not his brother its his FBIL.
It was said over the phone and now I have to go to their wedding on Friday and pretend to be happy about it.. I am SO bad at being fake! I will probably have steam coming out of my ears.

No its not his brother its his FBIL.

SIL was pi$$ed off that DH couldn't get her a bed when she got an apartment said something to me about how her brother (DH) doesn't help her since she came to NY. Hello!! We gave her a place to stay for 6 months and we only moved in together 3 days before she came!! DH did everything he could for her. I told her that she can't really believe it. She was so stubborn she refused to back down and we had such a fight- and she was staying with us. The next day she was leaving NY and I asked her if she was going to leave without resolving everything first. She ignored me, then left- went downstairs and called me and apologized. She was so ashamed at what she said, but was too stubborn to apologize and she couldn't do it to my face. I told her I love her, but DH is my husband and he has always done what he could by her and its not right to trash him, to me, just because she is upset things didn't go her way. She agreed- and it was over.
ETA: SIL said this to me, not to DH.

I agree too. Brothers fight and unless it involves you directly then it's not really you're business. They'll resolve it on their own, when they are ready. If I was fighting with my brother and his SO said something to me I think I'd tell her to take a walk. The relationship between me and my brother has nothing to do with her.
