If One More Person Mentions My Shower.....

I'm going to kick them straight in the arse. Seriously, I can't believe how stupid people can be. Last week the ding bat in my office told me that my invitations went out. Today by best friend called and I told her that I got a present sent to me off of my registry from DH's family. She's like why didn't they wait until the shower. I was like I don't know, maybe they can't make it. So she tells me well don't worry, your shower isn't anytime soon.

She already told me what favors she's doing because she found out that she was pregnant a few weeks ago and was told by her DH that she couldn't do the favors. So she's crying to me that she wanted to do ornaments as the favors. Well last week, her DH said that she could do it, so that surprise is out the window.

What part of I don't want to know anything about my shower I want to be surprised don't they understand????? Its like I'm speaking in a foreign language. I guess people don't want me to be surprised. Freaking idiots. This is why I hate people because they all suck.

End Vent. I'm just really cranky because of my head cold, but this has put me over the bend.

aww. i'm sorry the people in your life aren't hearing you! I think people tend to get so excited and wrapped up in baby stuff they forget that it isn't about THEM. I'm sure it'll be a beautiful shower and you'll have so much fun regardless!

That is frustrating! I want my shower to be a surprise too...so far so good. Although, I do know that the invites went out.

I told my DH that he has to go through our mail because for my wedding shower my grandma's sister sent me a card that said...Do not open until "the date of my shower". I was upset, but obviously didn't say anything. I know she's gonna do the same thing for this shower!!

I would just tell everybody that you don't wanna know anything. If someone starts to talk about your shower say "I'm sorry but I would rather know know anything".

I told my friend today that if I hear one more thing, I'm going to start telling people to shut the f up that I don't want to hear it anymore. If this was a one time thing, I might say it in a nicer way, but its becoming ridiculous. My mom is going out of her way to make this a great party for me and to surprise me and I don't want her disappointed that people were spilling the beans to me. I will have a great time no matter what, it just sucks that my wishes are being considered
