IF Crasher--Anyone get a BFP that disappeared after an hour?--Update on bottom

Going to the dr. tomorrow, but assuming this is not a good thing. 14dpo today, tested with FRER this afternoon. Got faint positive--but definitely visible. When I was showing my sister about an hour later, it had faded considerably until now I can hardly see it, if at all.

Bloodwork will confirm tomorrow, but this doesn't seem good.

did the pee stick fade?

or did you retest and get a BFN?

Either way.. it doesn't mean your out. If you got a line that's a good indication.

If the pee stick faded... was it the pink line FRER test? I've never seen them fade.. but i have seen them turn yellow in color.

If you retested and got a BFN... it could be that your urine was too diluted for the 2nd test.

I would hold my pee for at least 4 hours and POAS again. Then I would test again tomorrow morning with FMU again.

When I got a BFP I had a testing problem obviously... and tested like 5 times on different days.

Was it a FRER? Did it come up quickly?

Thanks, girls. It was a FRER and it came up quickly, pink. It wasn't super dark, but it was plain to see--I didn't have to do my usual holding it up to the light, twirling it around

Anyway, when I showed my sister about 45 minutes later, it had faded so that you did have to hold it to the light. And after over an hour....it's gone.

I did some online research and evidently it's not that uncommon.

Took another FRER and CBE digital this morning with FMU and BFN.

Thanks for the help, I'll just be returning to the IF boards again

Yes, yes! I saved it to show my dh, cause I had only showed him one test and I wanted to show him that I'd been testing for a couple of days, and two tests were blank! I don't know how long after the line disappeared but it def was gone!

it probably just dried, sounds like a bfp to me!! that's why the instructions say not to read results after 10 minutes.

i agree - the results are from 3-10 minutes after peeing. a line is a line - I think it's so faint, b/c it's so early.
