ideas how to tell family
I'm a little over 10 weeks and will not be telling family until Christmas day. We want to make sure all is well.
Looking for ideas how to tell my parents and his parents. TIA

We gave everyone ornaments and made them open it at the same time. Grandma & Grandpa 2011....Aunt 2011...Cousin 2011

If it's Christmastime, I would definitely go with the gifts idea.
For us, both sets of parents LOVE our dog because right now she's their only "grandchild", so we bought a shirt for her that says "I'm going to be a big sister". We plan to tell our families at Thanksgiving and I will put the shirt on our dog then and wait for the reaction! :)

I gave my in laws and mother one of those recordable cards. I wanted to put the heartbeat in the card but it was too early so we recorded ourselves saying "Surprise, we're having a baby!" It still worked out very well!

I wasn't very creative when telling my Mom. She is OOS so I just told her over the phone the day after my BFP.
DH's family is going to find out on Thanksgiving. I will be 14 weeks and we plan on asking them to take a family pic where DH will say on the count of three 1,2,3...X's pregnant!
We think it will be great to get everone's reaction on film!
