Ideas for Parents 25th anniversary gift (besides a party)
It is actually my mom & Step Dad, I would like to do something for them besides a party, maybe a weekend away?.......They live way upstate (Buffalo) and don't like to fly....I was thinking maybe Toronto or the Poconos?? Any other ideas? They are still very active and enjoy sports events (Hockey especially). TIA!

For my IL's 40th I put together a scrap book for them. I ordered a beautiful red leather book (ruby is 40th stone) and I wrote a letter to all of their friends and family with a scrap book page for them to create.
Of course, not everyone returned it, but 75 people did and my IL's loved the book. It was better then any dinner/party/weekend away we could have given them.

Since your parents like hockey - my assumption is that they are Sabres fan (as I am ). Get them season tickets for next year, or just weekend season tickets.
My parents are celebrating 40 this year and I plan to put together a collage/montage of them with their wedding photo in the center with all the family surrounding them!

I like this idea... along with a weekend away!
