Ideas for kids
Hello....
My neices will be here for 2 weeks in a few days. They are ages 9 and 6. I am trying to think of some fun ideas for crafts. Does anyone have any ideas?

My nieces love making necklaces out of beads. You could go to Michaels and buy one of those kits that comes with everything, and help them string the beads.

Paint by numbers
Go to a museum and then come back and try to re-create the style
Bring a sketchbook to a museum
paint wooden letters that spell their names for their doors
bake together

My nieces are 9 and 6 and we recently made friendship bracelets. We did the easier ones but they had a blast making them.

My nieces, ages 3-11, ALL love painting plaster things (animal statues, picture frames, banks, etc)

I had a playdate the other day and we painted suncatchers that I had ordered from Oriental Trading. I think they would enjoy something like that. I know that both my kids did (2 and 10) as did I.
